LEARNING RESOURCES
Conferences & Public Lectures
CCSI sponsors events featuring prominent Christian leaders and scholars on worldview issues, the rationality of the Christian faith, and dialogue and debate between Christianity and other viewpoints in the marketplace of ideas at the university. Recent topics at CCSI Centers have included Worship and Worldview, The New Atheism, Jesus and Buddha, Quest for the Historical Jesus, and Intelligent Design, drawing hundreds of students, faculty, and staff in university communities.
Movie Nights
Cinema is one of the most influential ways in which ideas and values are communicated today. CCSI Centers present movies as an opportunity to explore their messages and the ways in which they both represent and shape culture.
Bible Studies & Small Group Discussions
In formal and impromptu settings, CCSI encourages students to study, think and engage ideas together. These events are often Table Talks at CCSI residential Centers during a lunch-time, or they may be featured in a small-group gathering that meets in the student union or in a student apartment or dorm.
Libraries
CCSI Centers feature small library holdings in Christian scholarship for personal enrichment and research resources for students enrolled in university classes.
