CCSI ONLINE

CCSI Online is a distributed learning program, featuring online, onsite and blended courses, designed uniquely for the network of residential learning communities that comprise Centers for Christian Study International.

With CCSI Online courses there are no text-based lectures to read. No keyboard posts or threaded discussions. No faceless, voiceless, sit-in-front-of-your-computer-by-yourself learning.

Featuring a 4G network and real-time, simulcast audio-visual media, online courses include student cohorts from CCSI Study Centers in multiple locations with live faculty-student interaction, as well as individual directed study and independent study with real-time audio-visual faculty office hours.

Some courses feature recorded MP3 or audio-visual lectures from outstanding Christian scholars, and weekly, real-time audio-visual interaction with faculty; others are offered fully onsite in traditional classroom settings; still ohers feature a blend of online and onsite components.

All courses are delivered through Affiliate Study Centers with oversight from a local Study Center Director, and supportive, stimulating face-to-face interaction with fellow students. All courses have online syllabi, class schedules, lecture outlines, discussion questions and library and learning resources. Tests and quizzes are taken locally, proctored by approved Study Center staff.

Students at all locations have access to the full support services of CCSI, with its central administration in Boulder, Colorado.

Please Note:

*  The CCSI Online curriculum consists of directed study courses (for cohorts and individuals) and approved independent study.

*  Successful completion of Introduction to Online Learning Program (1) is required for enrollment in all other CCSI Online courses.

*  Academic programs are offered only at approved Study Center sites.
