CENTERS FOR CHRISTIAN STUDY INTERNATIONAL

UNIVERSITY FACULTY & STAFF

CCSI is committed to helping Christian faculty flourish in the challenging environment of a major research institution. Wherever ministries exist for Christian faculty, CCSI center directors and staff play a supportive role by making Study Center resources available to them.

Our vision of a Study Center as a learning community includes university faculty, staff and graduate students, as well as adult learners in the surrounding township. Faculty and staff are invited to take courses, and to participate in lectures, conferences, discussion groups and other Study Center events.

CCSI residential facilities often host faculty and staff gatherings close to campus with a refreshing opportunity to “get away from the office” and be renewed spiritually during the work week.

CCSI has a strong history of providing teaching opportunities for Christian university faculty to teach local Study Center credit courses, bringing with them their university experience, as well as providing an academic environment that allows greater freedom for articulating faith perspectives.

CCSI is seeking a major grant to create an online resource for Christian faculty and staff to access faith-shaped articles written by Christian colleagues at universities in the United States and abroad.
